CBD oil or Cannabidiol is a constituent of agricultural hemp, a plant belonging to the genus Cannabis class. It is a coarse bushy plant with palmate leaves and clusters of small green flowers. One of the unusual features of CBD is that it has a non-psychoactive property which is in contradiction to the wide variety of variants of Cannabis which is loaded with THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).

The absence of the recreation element in CBD oil and the fact that it does not have negative impacts on cognitive functions combined with its therapeutic qualities have grabbed the attention of medical and business communities. There is substantial evidence suggesting that the miraculous oil derived from CBD can be used as a safe method to address long-term chronic pain and a range of other medical conditions. While researchers are interested in the hidden benefits of CBD, the business community has already started offering CBD in oil, tablet and, spray forms.

While some people are nervous to use a product which contains cannabis, as it is a banned substance in most of the countries, the bottom line is that the oil derived from cannabis boasts extremely low percentage of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). However, the potential health benefits of CBD have started an exciting wave of debate across the globe, especially in the U.S. While cannabis in its classic form is legally out of the reach of ordinary people, its THC free cousin has generated admirable attention. However, there is still a lot of confusion when it comes to the question of cannabis legalization.

Because it belongs to the family of cannabis, most governments, especially the U.S states seem apprehensive about freeing it from the drug schedule. Some of the cannabis variants and their extracts are listed as a schedule I drugs because of their potential for abuse which may ultimately lead to severe psychological and physical dependence.

The growing popularity of CBD has given birth to several questions, the most common being; what is CBD? As mentioned above, CBD oil is derived from agricultural hemp which is high in CBD and low on THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), and it also possesses certain therapeutic constituents which are used to treat ailments such as arthritis, angina, seizures, genetic disorders, and epilepsy. The debate whether it actually helps treat these illnesses is beyond the scope of this post. However, one thing is very clear. CBD does not contain mind-altering property.

Although the benefits of CBD are still under observation through extensive research, it has been proven that CBD is effective in treating children with rare seizure disorder. Yet another area where CBD has proven its mettle is epilepsy. CBD also holds a lot of promise in treating several other ailments such as Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, psychosis, Parkinson’s disease and in providing general pain relief.

Today, the market is flooded with CBD products such as CBD tincture oil, CBD infused e-juices, tablet and spray forms.

These CBD products contain very low amounts of THC, impressive medicinal constituents such as cannabinoids and terpenes and cause few side effects. In fact, around 43 states have legalized the use and transport of CBD and it looks as though it won’t be too long before it is legal in all 50 states.

However, you need to be cautious as CDB and its health benefits are still undergoing several clinical tests around the world. As a buyer, you should check the label on the package. Does it give the name of the medical adviser? Is it certified by a renowned drug agency and finally, check the cannabinoid content before demanding an invoice.

You can also make your homemade CBD oil while extracting it though marijuana seeds. Make sure to buy organic seeds from trusted dispensaries and various online stores like Dutchseedsshop.com, etc.

Here are five reasons why CBD oil is the miracle many people have been waiting for.

1. It Can Stop Seizures in Their Tracks

It has been proven that those who use CBD-based medications experience 42% fewer seizures than those using a placebo, making this the most promising study ever conducted. Previous studies have shown CBD oil effective in treating other types of epilepsy, as well. The vast majority of users reported fewer seizures after their initial doses.

2. It Can Stop the Spread of Cancer

Scientists say that there is sufficient evidence that CBD can stop the growth of existing cancers. This means that patients with cancer may be able to use CBD oil to slow or even stop the spread, making their current treatments far more effective and valuable than before.

3. It Can Ease Anxiety

A study focused on CBD’s effect on the brain in patients who had been previously diagnosed with social anxiety disorders. In one of their trials, they gave participants a dose of CBD and then asked them to give a public speech. The results showed that the treatment improved their discomfort, cognitive impairment, speech, and anxiety – all with just one dose.

4. It Can Relieve Pain

Numerous studies have been conducted on CBD oil’s ability to relieve pain. In fact, a study proved that it was four times more effective than aspirin at relieving pain caused by inflammation, and in Canada, it’s possible to get a CBD drug by prescription of CBD dosage for pain. Scientists believe that CBD works on the vanilloid receptors in the body, which are responsible for pain perception, bodily inflammation, and even body temperature.

5. It Can Help People with Certain Mental Disorders

Antipsychotic drugs are a huge part of the overall pharmaceutical industry. Although they can work for many patients with significant mental disorders ranging from schizophrenia to bipolar disorder, they are fraught with side effects and often leave patients lethargic. Studies have shown that CBD oil can complement these therapies and provide a further improvement in symptoms.

CBD oil is a true elixir. Scientists, researchers, and even pharmaceutical companies around the world are studying it very closely. It’s already legalized in numerous states, and even where it isn’t, there are various other options available.
